Created on 12/12/2017

Hi guys! It’s Joshua here! The first playlist I’m going to share is “Cover Songs”, the best 20 cover song ever made!

  1. Twist and Shout by The Beatles: A classic from The Beatles song that is inspired from “La Bamba”.
  2. All Along the Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix: Composed by Bob Dylan, this version is certainly more famous.
  3. I Will Survive by Cake: A more rock version of the hit by Gloria Gaynor.
  4. Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley: The most famous Jeff Buckley song originally composed by Leonard Cohen.
  5. Feeling Good by Muse: The singer of Muse said they recorded the cover because his mum was a fan of Nina Simone.
  6. House of the Rising Sun by The Animals: This song was popularized by the Animals but it’s actually some sort of folk song with no real compositor.
  7. I Wanna Be Sedated by The Adicts: The Ramones with an English accent, enjoy the Adicts!
  8. Like A Rolling Stone by The Rolling Stones: Another song composed by Bob Dylan, The Stones HAD to make a cover!!
  9. Stop Breaking Down by The White Strypes: This song has been covered by multiple artist, but the White Stripes is my favourite version.
  10. You know I’m No Good by The Arctic Monkeys: Written by Amy Winehouse, shout out to AM for not changing the pronouns.
  11. Police and Thieves by The Clash: Present on the Clash first album, this reggae tune was originally recorded by Junior Murvin.

  14. Lake of Fire by Nirvana: Not the most famous cover of Nirvana during the MTV Unplugged but I personally love it and the Meat Puppets would want you to listen.
